Why Hello there! This blog began as just a place for entries for LS 500 with Dr. MacCall in the MLIS program at the University of Alabama. This was a year ago– I now have curved my education into a shape the MAYBE resembles a career that I would like to have. In doing so, I am taking LS 534- Medical Librarianship- in this Spring 2016 semester. Part of this class requires me to have a professional Twitter to discover information in the library community as well as make connections. This is going to be a major step into what my future endeavors will look like, and I’m very excited to get started. If you are already reading this–Thank you. You and all three other readers are gentlemen and scholars. 🙂 I look forward to getting back to writing on more articles, and perhaps a few casual entries.
I also want to invite you to follow my professional Twitter: @CollierArchives
In doing some light research into whom I should follow on Twitter, I discovered a pretty amazing list for my fellow librarians. The handles vary from individuals who are working librarians, to job lists in the field, and other professional organizations in the library community. I recommend that my cohorts take a look at this list and see if there’s anyone they would like to follow. I know I’ve already found several. Here’s the link!
Thanks for reading, and keep reading. Always.
